Cottonwood Lake Lutheran Church
When the early homesteader settles in this community, they not only had in mind to build homes for themselves, but also for their spiritual welfare.
On July 9, 1905, these people gathered at the home of Ole Hauglie to organize a congregation. It was to be a Lutheran Synod congregation, the name being Cottonwood Lake Lutheran Church.
