Jehovah’s Witnesses

“The Powers Lake Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses was organized in 1938. The congregation met in homes and rened places until 1960 when the Kingdom Hall was built. The building is located in S. 29 of Garness Township on land donated by Ingeborg Andersen, which was part of the Pete Andersen homestead. The work of building the hall was done by the congregation itself. An addition was added in 1976. The congregation has increased from 12 to 65-70.”
